Note:
In the 1970s and 80s, there was a popular television singing contest called "Tanghalan ng Kampyon" which used the word Tanghalan in a very clever way. It was used as [1] a venue (actual physical space and the airtime space on television) where singers perform and [2] the TV program proclaims and exalts the champion (winner of the competition).
